Serikali kupitia Wizara ya Afya imetoa kiasi cha Bilioni 4.4 kwa ajili ya ujenzi wa miundombinu ya kutolea Huduma za Radiolojia, jengo la kufua hewa ya oksijeni pamoja na uboreshaji wa huduma za dharura na wagonjwa mahututi katika Hospitali Rufaa ya Jeshi Lugalo.

Hayo
yamesemwa na Katibu Mkuu Wizara ya Afya Prof. Abel Makubi mara baada ya
kutembelea miradi hiyo ya ujenzi inayoendelea kutekelezwa ndani ya
Hospitali hiyo iliyopo Jijini Dar Es Salaam.
“Shilingi Bilioni 4.4
zimetolewa na Serikali chini ya Mhe Rais Samia Suluhu Hassan kwa ajili
ya miradi ya ujenzi hapa Lugalo, lakini pia tumetoa zaidi ya Bilioni 4.8
kwa utekelezaji wa miradi ya afya kwenye Idara nyingine za Ulinzi na
Usalama ikiwemo Jeshi la Polisi na Jeshi la Magereza.” amesema Prof.
Makubi na kuongezea kuwa Wizara ya Afya itaendelea kushirikiana na
Wizara na Taasisi nyinginezo kuboresha huduma za Afya.

Makubi ameipongeza Hospitali hiyo kwa usisamizi hodari wa miradi hiyo
huku akiwataka viongozi kuhakikisha miradi hiyo inakamilika ndani ya
wakati ili wananchi waanze kupata huduma.

Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania Mheshimiwa Samia Suluhu Hassan kwa
kuendelea kuiwezesha Jeshi la Wananchi wa Tanzania kutoa huduma za afya
kwa wananchi lakini pia kwa kutoa fedha za UVIKO-19 kwa ajili ya
kuboresha huduma za afya nchini” amesema Prof. Makubi ambaye pia
alifikisha salaam za Waziri wa afya , Mhe Ummy Mwalimu kwa Uongozi wa
Hospitali ya Lugalo.
Naye Katibu Mkuu Wizara ya Ulinzi na Jeshi
la Kujenga Taifa Dkt. Faraji Mnyepe amesema kuwa Wizara yake itaendela
kushirikiana na Wizara ya Afya kuhakikisha wanaendelea kutoa huduma bora
za matibabu kwa wananchi.

Jenerali Agatha Katua amesema kuwa Hospitali ya Jeshi Lugalo ilipokea fedha kiasi cha Shilingi Bilioni 4.4 ambapo mpaka sasa tayari wameshanunua mashine ya kufua hewa ya oksijeni kutoka Borahi Kuu ya Dawa, huku ujenzi wa jengo la kuwekea mashine hizo na kutoa huduma ukiwa unaendelea.

Jenerali Agatha Katua amesema kuwa wanaendelea na ujenzi wa jengo la
Radiolojia ambapo wataweka huduma zote za radiolojia sehemu hiyo kwa
kuweka mashine za CT, Scan, MRI, X-Ray, Ultra Sound.

wanatarajia kukamilisha ifikapo Mwezi Agosti 2022.
