PRINTING AND SUPPLY OF

REDESIGNED LOGISTICS SYSTEM FOR PUBLIC HEALTH COMMODITIES IN TANZANIA MAINLAND

Invitation for Tenders

Date: 10^th September, 2018

1.      The Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children has secured funds from Global Fund towards the cost of Implementation of the Health System Strengthening Program (HSS), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of the funds to cover payments under the contract for Printing and Supply of Redesigned Logistics System for Public Health Commodities in Tanzania Mainland.

2.      The Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children now invites sealed tenders from eligible Suppliers for Printing and Supply of Redesigned Logistics System for Public Health Commodities in Tanzania Mainland as follows:

3. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act 2011 as amended 2016 and related Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary, Ministerial Tender Board, Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children, University of Dodoma, Faculty of Social Science in Community Development, P. O Box 743, Dodoma, Building No. 11, 40478 Dodoma, Room 203, from 9.00-3.30 hrs. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays .

5.      Tender Document in English may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzania Shillings One Hundred Thousands Shillings Only (TZS. 100,000.00/=). Payment should either be by Cash or Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to Principal Secretary, Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, Bank of Tanzania, Account No. 9921145201.

6.      All tenders must be accompanied by a Bid Security or Bid Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.

7. All tenders in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the Secretary, Ministerial Tender Board, Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children; University of Dodoma, Faculty of Social Science in Community Development, P. O Box 743, Dodoma, Building No. 11, 40478 Dodoma, Room 203, 1^st Floor, before 11:00 hrs. on 24^th September, 2018.

8. Tenders will be opened thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Minister’s Conference Hall, Area D, Sengia Street at Ministry of Health, community Development, Gender, elderly and Children Offices, Dodoma.

9.      Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
